At night I&nbsp;separate&nbsp;my head from my body  so my&nbsp;muscles&nbsp;get there proper rest.&nbsp; <br /><br /><span></span>2. I say out loud, to myself, 7634  times an hour--&gt; "things cant go bad, Eric Reingold is in the band."  and finally <br /><br /><span></span>3. NIFTY) &nbsp;which in turn was also the&nbsp;beginning&nbsp;of me being a  drummer as i had never done such&nbsp;craziness&nbsp;before. &nbsp;So reflecting on the  past 2 years has been fun, with just over a buck fity shows to look  back on I can say this.&n [...] ]]></description><content:encoded><![CDATA[<div  class="paragraph editable-text" style=" text-align: left; ">March has all of a  sudden turned into a month of life changing events. &nbsp;2 years ago  Jamantics jammed its first show, (after a few &nbsp;formations we like to  forget... NIFTY) &nbsp;which in turn was also the&nbsp;beginning&nbsp;of me being a  drummer as i had never done such&nbsp;craziness&nbsp;before. &nbsp;So reflecting on the  past 2 years has been fun, with just over a buck fity shows to look  back on I can say this.&nbsp; <br /><br /><span></span>Setting up and breaking down drums, and then  the work&nbsp;to keep them&nbsp;operating&nbsp;in a pro fashion was a bit of a shock to  the system. &nbsp;But that would be the only downside, and even now its all  part of the process. &nbsp;Lets see, &nbsp;I have lost over 40 pounds&nbsp;since taking  the drum roll. &nbsp; Met some amazing people,&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;and functionized so many  cool vibes i would have never&nbsp;normally&nbsp;attended. &nbsp;And now I have a  strong music family with the drive to keep the music bond strong.&nbsp; <br /><br /><span></span>Also  in March is my 2 year anniversary with my&nbsp;fiance, who has helped with  the person aspect of improvement. &nbsp;So shout out to March and happy 2  years of sweet sugary awesomeness!! &nbsp; <br /><br /><span></span>Random---Also in the last 2 years I  have managed to stay at the same address, become obsessed with pretty  Peggy Pepper, started using breathy nose strips for sleepy time,  &nbsp;finally was able to formulate an&nbsp;opinion&nbsp;on whats better, PS3 or  XBOX,&nbsp;&nbsp;and if you drive me we can legally park in in&nbsp;handicap&nbsp;spots.  &nbsp;HAPPY SPRING PEOPLE!!! &nbsp; &nbsp; jamasceo</div>  ]]></content:encoded></item><item><title><![CDATA[The ramblings of a singing drummer]]></title><link><![CDATA[http://www.jamantics.com/1/post/2011/02/the-ramblings-of-a-singing-drummer.html]]></link><comments><![CDATA[http://www.jamantics.com/1/post/2011/02/the-ramblings-of-a-singing-drummer.html#comments]]></comments><pubDate>Tue, 22 Feb 2011 09:15:11 -0800</pubDate><category><![CDATA[Uncategorized]]></category><guid isPermaLink="false">http://www.jamantics.com/1/post/2011/02/the-ramblings-of-a-singing-drummer.html</guid><description><![CDATA[  Hearing and being heard are vastly different concepts when you are a  singing drummer. &nbsp;I have to put faith in the qualified  people&nbsp;responsible&nbsp;for the being heard part.
