A Sad Letter From jamAntics

Hello Family, Friends and Fans,

It is with a heavy heart that this letter is being typed to you all. After over two and a half amazing years filled with hundred of shows ranging from the dank basement of a college art house in Keene, NH to the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom and the Verizon Wireless Arena, from a cross-dressing Jamanchicks Halloween party to the Main Stage of the Big Up, from Harry's Hill to Rockinham Hill Farm, from Burlington, VT to Boston, MA, from the Rock 'n' Race to rockin' Bike Week, from Berwick, ME to Brattleboro, VT and so many more in between, it is with sadness that we must tell you that Jamantics has decided that this will be the last Summer of shows for us.

The support we have received from our friends, family and fans (you guys!) over these last two and a half years is beyond anything we could have ever imagined or hoped for! Because of your incredible support and love of music, we have been able to garner a number of awards over the past two and a half years that wouldn't have been possible without all of you! We have had a number of Jamantics designs made by friends and fans (including our EP jacket design), our name carved into a pumpkin, silly shirts made with magic markers and humourous haiku's among so many other things. We hold a deep gratitude in our hearts for everything you have done for us that has made this band what it is today! Thank you all so much!

The month of August will be our final farewell shows. We have six shows ahead of us. These shows are listed below:

Aug. 6th - Breakwater's Cafe and Grill - Burlington, VT - 6pm

Aug. 19th - Capitol Center for the Arts w/the Brew (our final hometown show!!) - Concord, NH 8pm

Aug. 20th - Waterville Valley - 6pm

Aug. 26th - The Shaskeen - Manchester, NH - 9pm

Aug. 27th - Fury's Publick House - Dover, NH - 9pm

Oct. 1st - Chili Fest - Manchester, NH

We hope to see you out at these shows dancing and getting down like we know you can! Again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of the endless support you have given us and a special thank you to our hometown of Concord, NH for giving us so many opportunities and being so supportive as a community of live local music. As always, you can find lots of Jamantics live shows at http://www.archive.org/details/Jamantics. We would love to hear about some of your favorite Jamoments on our facebook page!

Love,
Jamantics
